Grading Policy
A= 90 – 100%, B= 80 – 89%, C= 70 – 79%, D= 60 – 69%, F= 50 – 59%
Math Department Grading Policy: Chapter Tests/Major Projects: 25%, Quizzes/Smaller Tests: 40%, Classwork/Homework/Etc.: 35%
Ms. Astone will send out twice monthly progress reports via Genesis to the email on file. *This will only be a progress report for Math!*

Homework
* Usually assigned every night
*Students must write down homework at the end of class in their homework planner (one provided by Ms. Astone or their own planner)
*Due the next class unless otherwise noted
*Checked at the beginning of class. Homework not completed will result in a 0.
*Can be handed in late for a points deduction (Each teacher has their own policy on accepting late work)
*Homework Passes can be used. Will count as a 100% in Genesis.

Checks
*Textbook, Folder, and Homework Planner will be checked for neatness, completeness, etc. periodically. These checks will count for a classwork grade.

Extra Help
*2:45 to 3:05 pm on select day(s)
*Date(s) will be posted in classroom at the beginning of each new week
*If students take the bus they must make their own arrangements to get home. There is no late bus.
*Students can also utilize 21st Century, Linden Public Library, and various online resources if I am not available
